Ramsey Taylor is a business lawyer with more than 20 years of experience advising companies, founders, boards, and investors in the U.S. and internationally. 

His practice focuses on serving as outside general counsel, guiding start-ups and growth companies, and supporting complex domestic and cross-border transactions with an integrated business, legal, and tax perspective. Ramsey has practiced law in the United States, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Over the course of his career, he has worked at large international firms, boutique practices, an energy company, and two start-ups—including one during the original dot-com era. 

Clients work with Ramsey because he is practical, accessible, and focused on outcomes. Ramsey earned his J.D. from the College of William & Mary and an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University. He is admitted to practice in New York and Washington, D.C.

Outside of his practice, Ramsey supports Cavalier Rescue USA by fostering rescue dogs and donating 1% of firm profits to the organization. He is an avid science-fiction reader and can often be found in Central Park with his two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.

Allison Burnham is a Senior Associate at Taylor Legal NYC, where she advises clients on a wide range of commercial and business contracting matters. Her practice focuses on drafting, negotiating, and managing complex agreements across multiple industries, with particular depth in banking and privacy-related work.

Allison brings nearly 20 years of experience practicing in New York. She has worked at a large law firm, in-house, as a consultant, and at a legal research and analytics publisher, giving her a broad and practical perspective on how contracts function in real-world business environments. She regularly supports clients across the full contracting lifecycle, from template development and negotiation through implementation and ongoing management.

In addition to traditional contracting work, Allison has contributed to cross-functional projects including GAAP reconciliations, the design and implementation of contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems, and the development of role-based access frameworks. Whether a client needs hands-on negotiation support, scalable contract templates, or assistance building contract infrastructure, Allison approaches each matter with a focus on clarity, efficiency, and usability.

Allison earned her J.D. from Albany Law School in 2007 and is admitted to practice law in New York.

Outside of her practice, Allison has lived in numerous states across the eastern United States. She enjoys reading, watching anime, and spending time with her cats.

Kurt Hendricksen is an Associate at Taylor Legal NYC, where he advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, general corporate matters, and employment law.  He works with businesses, founders, and creators to navigate complex legal issues with practical, strategic solutions aligned with their commercial objectives.

Before entering the legal profession, Kurt built a diverse career as a multi-instrumentalist musician and audio engineer, working in recording studios and concert venues throughout New York City and New Jersey. As a producer and engineer, he spent years helping artists bring creative projects from concept to execution—experience that informs his collaborative, results-oriented approach to legal work.

In addition to his work in the music industry, Kurt worked as an electrician, gaining hands-on experience in technical and trade environments. This background gives him a grounded understanding of how businesses operate on a practical level and allows him to approach legal problems with clarity, efficiency, and a solutions-driven mindset.

Kurt earned his J.D. from New York Law School.

Outside the office, Kurt enjoys playing guitar and writing music, exploring New York City, and spending time outdoors. He is an avid surfer on the Jersey Shore and also enjoys snowboarding, skiing the East Coast, and fly fishing.

Kate holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Trinity College Dublin. She previously worked as a Global Trade and Tariff Executive with a government enterprise development agency in Ireland. In this role, she worked closely with start-up companies across a wide range of sectors, helping them navigate international trade and customs challenges. 

Kate has gained experience interning with international corporate law firms, and she also brings a practical entrepreneurial perspective, having owned and operated a profitable food truck business for nearly two years. 

Outside of the office, Kate enjoys playing violin, Pilates and baking for her friends and family. 

Paula Pulido serves as a Legal Assistant at Taylor Legal NYC PLLC where she provides essential support to the firm’s attorneys and assists with case management, client coordination, and administrative matters, helping ensure that legal matters are handled efficiently and with attention to detail, contributing to the firm’s commitment to responsive and professional client service.  Though she has a Bachelor's and a Master's in Educational Psychology, she is now committed to her newfound love: law, and will soon get her first Diploma.

Outside of the office, Paula likes running, Taylor Swift, playing with her kids, and cheering for the Denver Broncos.
